Bourne Valley After School Club provides high quality childcare for primary school children aged 4-11 years.

 Bourne Valley Nursery After School Club.

Our club runs alongside The Nursery during term times. It caters for 24 children from 4 years old (and already registered at a School) to 11 years old. The Morning Club is run by Ellen (playworker level 3)  an experienced childcare practitioner . The Afternoon Club is lead by Claire a qualified and experienced childcare practitioner who also works in runs the kitchen, she is supported by Keyworkers from Nursery who have a clear understanding of our ethos. At the end of the morning club children are taken to their local school, and in the afternoons they are picked up for the after school club.

Where?

The Before and After School Club takes place in the upstairs room in the main building, this is a large spacious room with a smaller room off the side for the older children to allow for quieter activities or homework. The room is equipped with furniture and a wide range of resources that are suitable for this age range. The children also have access to a large outside play area.

When?

We are open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (not including Bank Holidays). You can choose from a variety of sessions to meet your needs.

Eating

The children all have a drink and a snack when they arrive from school. Children who stay after 4pm will be provided with a cooked tea.

Activities

Inside: There are various activities to get involved in; a range of art and craft, computer games, books, games and puzzles, construction, sand...Things to do alone and with new friends. We encourage the children to plan what they would like to do during their time at the club and help them achieve their aims.

Outside: We have many games to play outside, team games such as hockey and basket ball, games for two such as badminton and group games such as Bean! We also have special events like picnic teas outside. There are also plenty of opportunities for budding gardeners.

Fees are payable by the 10^th of each month, you are paying for your child’s place regardless of attendance. An automatic surcharge of 5% will be charged if fees are not paid by the 10^th of the month. There is a £10 charge for cheques that are not honoured.

You can pay by direct debit, internet payment, cash or cheque. We also accept workplace vouchers towards your payment.

We have a sibling discount of 10% for one sibling.

We take children from three schools in the surrounding area. Some who have been through the nursery and are meeting old friends, many who are new to us and soon make lots of new friends. Our main aim is that they all enjoy themselves and we make sure it is motivational and fun!
