Bourne Valley Holiday Club

Bourne Valley Holiday Club runs alongside The Nursery during half terms and Easter and Summer State School holidays. It caters for 16 children from 4 years old (and already registered at a School) to 11 years old.

The Club will be lead by two qualified and competent practitioners with experience of working with this age group.
Where?
The Holiday Club takes place in the After School Room in the upstairs of the main Nursery building. The room is equipped with furniture and a wide range of resources that are suitable for this age range. The children also have frequent access to a large outside play area.
When?
We are open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (not including Bank Holidays), some of this time maybe spent in the main nursery building. You can choose from a variety of sessions to meet your needs eg; a morning, an afternoon, an afternoon with lunch and tea.
Eating
Children who stay for lunch will be provided with a cooked lunch, and we do provide snack during the session. Children who stay for tea will also be provided with a two course home cooked tea.

Activities
Inside: There are various activities to get involved in; a range of art and craft, computer games, books, games and puzzles, construction, sand, role play - putting on shows! etc...Things to do alone and with new friends. We encourage the children to plan what they would like to do during the day and help them achieve their aims. We also have special events such as Splash of Colour, Pink and Yellow Pasta, Zoo Lab, Tae Kwon Do and others visiting Holiday Club.
Outside: We have many games to play outside, team games such as hockey, games for two such as badminton and swing ball and group games such as Stuck in the Mud! We also have special events like the water ‘Splash’ Day. There are also plenty of opportunities for budding gardeners.

Trips: Because of our rural location we like to make the most of our surroundings, going to the park for a picnic, down to the river for a duck race, up to Figsbury Ring to fly kites. We also enjoy trips further a field, we have had lovely days out to Moors Valley Country Park and Wilton House.

See our Holiday Club photo album to see what we get up to!
We are always busy doing exciting things!

We take children from many different schools in the surrounding area. Some who have been through the nursery and are meeting old friends, many who are new to us and soon make lots of new friends. Our main aim is that they all enjoy themselves and enjoy their holidays - we make sure it is different and fun!
